The University of Manchester is part of the HEFCE N8 AgriFood programme – an interdisciplinary research initiative.
The N8 consortium consists of the eight most research intensive universities in the North of England (Newcastle, Durham, York, Lancaster, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield and Liverpool).
You can find out more about how our colleagues across these universities are working towards our objectives through the central N8 AgriFood website.
N8 AgriFood in Manchester aims to encourage researchers from all disciplines to engage with the programme.
We encourage researchers to help to contribute to the development of each theme and to apply for our Pump Priming Funds in order to help progress research and be successful in applications for future funding awards.
