AgriFood Research Fellow, 1FTE, fixed term contract until 30 April 2020

N8 AgriFood are recruiting a new Research Fellow, with the application deadline set for May.
The job holder will be required to work across the three N8 AgriFood Themes (Sustainable Food Production, Resilient Supply Chains and Improved Consumption and Health) in conjunction with academics and industrial partners from across the physical sciences and engineering, clinical and lifesciences together with humanities (including business schools).
They will be expected to help develop existing networks across the University covering the different disciplines involved in delivering activity related to the N8 AgriFood themes working as a bridge between academia, industrial and retail partners. He/she must possess the skills to help develop active collaborations and linkages between the three themes covering research in agriculture, food and nutrition in order to help N8 AgriFood partnership achieve their key objectives. First-hand experience of developing or working within transdisciplinary projects with active industrial or policy maker engagement will be critical. A background in research would be an advantage.
